Quality 2 Year Old - born 18th March 2008 Winwood - £6,000
A beautiful athletic dark brown gelding. He is going to be tall and light framed, in fact a picture of his sire - see below. Winwood scored very well at the BEF Futurity gradings at the Heart of England in 2008. He scored a 8.5 for his confirmation, 9 for his paces and 8.75 for athleticism. The judges comments on his paces were that he had '3 good paces and good rhythm' 'moved easily, fluid and supple'. Overall he gained a First Premium with an average score of 8.09 Winwood attended the BEF series in 2009 as a yearling scoring 7.86. He got an 8.5 for his vet mark and 8.0 for conformation and type and temperament. Judges summary comments 'quality horse of fair type and good temperament' - they seemed to be looking for more engagement from behind, which as a yearling is quite hard to show!! But we love him, he's very beautiful so please come along and visit him here at home. He will certainly be a star of the future. Branded and passported BHHS. Trimmed, wormed and vaccinated.
