Red Rousseau is an outstanding pink papered
Hanoverian with top class breeding from a sire line of world importance,
including the highly sought after Bergamon, and the great Rousseau,
two of the most successful international stallions who are recognised within
the breed as sires who can be relied upon for superior heritability. His Dam, Elite Belisma, is one of the founder breeding mares at Fosshey Hanoverian Stud
Red has superb loose elastic paces, combined with the most
wonderful gentle temperament. He recently proved his ability at a dressage
clinic with a list one British Dressage judge who commented; ‘a lovely genuine
horse with good rhythm and three quality paces. The canter is particularly good
and the transitions remarkably advanced for his age.’
Red has a great temperament and rideability. He is
responsive to the aids and making quick progression through his training. In a
recent training session with a top British Dressage coach, he was highly praised
for his ‘great attitude and trainability’.
Red is a top quality horse with a gentle easy manner
making him perfect for a professional dressage rider or an ambitious amateur
looking for their horse of a lifetime.
He is ready to commence his competition campaign and is currently aimed at the British Dressage Summer Qualifiers in January 2012.
