This year we have decided to set levels of price according to how our foal stock are graded.

 

Last year we put all five foals through the BEF Futurity Scheme. This is a national grading system under at least three judges plus a vet check, therefore the gradings carry weight as they are not just a showing ring competition, they are grading the likelyhood of the horse becoming an elite sports horse of the future. Last year we had one filly (from Rhiannon) that achieved a 9 = Elite Premium Diploma, 2 that made a First Premium Dipolmas and 2 that were graded Second Premium Diplomas.

 

This year we will price as follows:

Elite Premium Diploma (foal has to achieve overall a 9 average score - equiv. to 90+%) £7,000 - £8,000             

First Premium Diploma (foal has to achieve between 8 and 8.99 average score) £6,000

Second Premium Diploma (foal scores between 7 and 7.99) £5,000

 

The gradings that we will be attending are 1st August at Myerscough and 12th August at Heart of England.
